Brief:
As an illustrator and graphic designer, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Bournemouth-based surf indie/grunge band Scrap Iron Men to develop their visual identity during the creation of their EP album. I was responsible for crafting a cohesive grungy 90s-inspired brand identity, which included designing their logo, album cover, and lyric book. For their release party, I crafted promotional materials, including flyers and Instagram posts, ensuring the 90s aesthetic carried through all visuals. I also captured photography during their gigs, which was integrated into their brand identity and album design, showcasing the band’s raw, energetic performances. Additionally, I created screen titles for their music videos, contributing to the overall visual storytelling of the band. This project allowed me to combine design, illustration and photography with strategic branding to capture the essence of Scrap Iron Men's dynamic sound and personality.
